As I checked Wikipedia on Sars i was a bit astonished. Ther is still no cure, but there are no more infection no more deaths. Why?

People in Taiwan speak Mandarin Chinese (or Taiwanese Mandarin, a kind dialect of Mandarin Chinese), a dialect of Southern Min (or simply called Taiwanese), Hakka, and a few people speaks about several kinds Austronesian languages. We don't speak Cantonese.

Yeah, you are correct: in this video, people speak mostly in Mandarin, a foreign dialect rarely spoken by Taiwanese 64 years ago.

In this video, people speak mostly in Chinese, not Cantonese. In Taiwan, we use Taiwanese, Hakka, many aboriginal languages, and Chinese.
