Would it have been too much to ask for Canada to have kept her to themselves? :P

Sorcier, Yuna was born and raised in Hawaii, as Hikaru was raised in NY. If you've heard either speak, you'd know they speak accentless English.

Celine, love her. She said thank Yuna I am happy to be in your country. This performance is in Japan. Yuna is American from Hawaii. Love you Yuna, local girls rule

Not being a jerk here, but could you state your source? Mine says L.A. born, and relocated... I just like having the facts straight. As in FACT: Yuna Ito is the shit.

Haha... well, if you're talking about lyrics, how can Utada be not good, but Yuna be better? I mean, Yuna's never written her own song in English o__o... Lol...

I did say that I doubted she had, though I'm very keen to find out who wrote "Unite As One".
Regardless, I'm not comparing their writing ability.

Utada could possibly write better English lyrics - we won't know until she does so. 'Til then - we've only got "This Is The One", which I personally think actually pales in comparisson with "Exodus", both lyrically and musically. The music in "Exodus" is quite fresh and experimental.
That's just my personal opinion. People are free to disaggree.
