Just heard this song at the end of episode 4 of Friday Night Lights. What a beautiful song!

I think the original is good, but there's something really desert-like and western about this version that just appeals to me more. It seems to have totally different meaning than the original version - both imp. meanings though.

it's "feathers on my breath", if you go to his website and download the lyrics PDF, you'll see it for yourself.

in this version the words are easier to understand but when i listen to the massive attack version i just cant seem to make myself hear "feathers on my breath" it sounds more like "feel the sunrise (or sunlight), pray" i guess the words are "feathers on my breath" but man sometimes it seems like they purposefully make it hard to tell what they are saying (singers in general). all of that being said i have listened to both versions like 10 times this week because they are both awesome.

I don't remember which artist it was, but he refused to publish the lyrics to his song. When he was asked why, he said that what you hear is what is important to you. That gives the song personal touch to the listener. If you are corrected, that personal connection to the song is lost.

this is an awesome, powerful cover.. one of those few cases where its superior to the original song.

This video on the other hand..someone was on some sort of illegal narcotic when making it.
