Just do it like the big boys who shoot on film! Buy a slate and a good audio recorder like a ZOOM and record sound externally!

So you made a Video with you 40D, but @f1.4 or what adjustment ?

I wonder how long it will take someone to make a custom firmware now that this proof of concept it out. I agree that it's disappointing to have to use a computer to record the video, but it's still an interesting hack all the same.

very nice but it doesn't save the video on the camera, you must have the camera always connected to a computer, so this is not practical.
