Mere desh ki Dharti-Upkar

Can someone here translate [at least a part] the song into English. It sounds very noble. I know this is a hard job... but you'd be doing persons such me, whose forefathers came from India, a giant favor.

I am trying my best though not sure how much I will suceed
mere desh kee dharatee, sonaa ugale, ugale hire motee
mere desh kee dharatee - My country's soil is so great that it can give even gold / silver / pearl - so great is the soil we live in!!!!!!!!

bailon ke gale mein jab ghungaru, jeewan kaa raag sunaate hai - When the bells in bull (hung in their neck) can sing the song of life-

gam kos door ho jaataa hai, khushiyon ke kanwal musakaate hai - These fade away all our woes etc and brings in the smile
sun ke rahat kee aawaaje, yoo lage kahee shahanaaee baje - Listening those melodious sounds makes s feel as if we are hearing shenai(a classical instrument played in marriages in India)
aate hee mast bahaaron ke dulhan kee tarah har khet saje
- They come dressed in as bride

jab chalate hain is dharatee pe hal , mamataa angadaeeyaan letee hai - when we plough in these fields the soil relaxes itself on its own

kyo naa pooje is maantee ko, jo jeewan kaa sukh detee hai - why should we not pray the soil when it gives us life
is dharatee pe jis ne janam liyaa, usane hee paayaa pyaar teraa - whoever was born in this soil they have got its love
yahaa apanaa paraayaa koee nahee, hain sab pe, maan, upakaar teraa- nobody is alien here - everyone is thankfl to u!

ye baag hain gautam naanak kaa, khilate hain aman ke fool yahaan- these beatiful gardens give us the taste of heaven
gaandhee, subhaash taigor, tilak ayese hain chaman ke fool yahaa - Gandhi / Tagore / Subash Chandra/ lokmanya Tilak are all great sons of this soil
rang haraa hareesing nalawe se, rang laal hain laal bahaadoor se -
rang banaa basantee bhagatasing rang aman kaa weer jawaahar se - each of the colour like red for lal bahadur have come from or leaders

Way to go man, I wish folks would be Indians first and then Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs etc.. etc..

I was very young when this movie was released, Manoj Sahib is one of the true son of India, I still in total awe with his vision and his unconditonal love for the country. He is/was so proud of India he is inspiration to coming generations. Thanks Manoj Sahib for all the things you did for us.
