Dr. Walter L. Wagner discusses the potential destruction of our planet earth by creating micro black holes and strangelets with the LHC. He indicates the current CERN safety reports are seriously flawed and contain unacceptable risks. For example, if micro black holes are created, which CERN estimates about 1 micro black hole every second, Dr. Rossler's calculations estimate 50 months to 50 years to grow large enough to destroy Earth. So the effects of this experiment may be months to years after the first LHC collisions. Dr. Rossler's website is lhcfacts.org Dr. Wagner's website is lhcdefense.org

Black holes dont collide, they simpley merge into one other becoming even more dense. This is why we have super massive black holes at the centre of galaxies. Realistically speaking, what the person described above wont happen, as if a black hole was created then the shift in gravity, would have a devistating effect from the start. The theory is as it the forming black hole would be so small it would evaporate. Still though I dont think we should be playing around. We only have 1 planet.
it didnt break down they got it back up then decided to close it temporarely to install new shit on it ..
and the higgs field is just another prediction of the standard model ..
there was a time when most of the particles in the model where theoretical and mere prediction ..
the most well known where the W and Z bosons ..wich all the feynman charts accurately explain how they worked, they just never found them until recently cus their so heavy .. the higgs boson is even heavier ,
@M0rganPlaysHard - gravity is not a "force" that "pulls" or "attracts", gravity is a curvature of space-time and all particles, both massive and massless, follow a curved trajectory through this curved space. Just FYI
relativity gives a good explanation but still doesnt explain gravity at the quantum level and cant be aplied without resulting in mistakes like infinite gravity from 2 particles ..
string theory explains gravity as a force of attraction that creates a bending of space ..the 2 are 1 and the same ..what appears as a bending of space could be a bending of the graviton density ..
we might just find out that space itself is quantisized.

8 + 5 makes 13!
the only massless particles are gluons, photons and the theoretical gravitons..

the higgs boson is even heavier ,
any body that has mass bends space , and any particle follows this path
the difference is massless particles dont bend space, but they still follow the path
the reason they dont have mass is they dont interact with the higgs field ....
but at the quantum level photons are attracted by particles with mass according to string theory wich is the best theory of Quantum Gravity..
we still need to unify the quantum and relative theories ..
