* Unoptimised. * No sound. * No frame rate lock (hence occasional flickering). * Pixel quadrupling done in software. * Smudgy, dusty protective film on the LCD. * System possibly underclocked to 500MHz?

Yep, you can hear traffic. What you can't hear is game sounds, much like all of the other videos I've seen of the Pandora. Does this thing actually have the ability to make sound or is it a dev board limitation?
It's only been about a week since notaz got the Pandora's Linux sound driver working, and I don't have a copy of his kernel yet. The emulator does full sound emulation, so when I get an updated kernel I'll add the sound code and do another video.
It was a Friday night when I filmed it. Although it's a residential street with a 30mph speed limit we still get some boy racers using it as a drag strip at the weekend. If you listen carefully you can faintly hear some people shouting outside, too. =)
Yep, sounds exactly like our road here. We have speed bumps right outside our house, & also the 30mph speed limit, but still you get the boyracers whizzing down like they're at fookin Silverstone or summat. One day they'll come a cropper. We've had bad accidents here years ago, one with an ice cream van one time which crashed into cars & ended up on it's side. I worry about the kids round here too, we have a shop 3 doors down from us, & they're always crossing the road...Not good.
