naa... dont get an A500 unless it has a 1mb upgrade.... a lot of those games require the 1mb upgrade, which was built into the amiga 600 / 1200

Stupid question.. If i wanted to buy a computer to play these which Amiga do I need? Im guessing a 500/600/1200? Are they all the same or is there compatibility issues?

Most games should run fine on any of these 3. But you could also use an emulator like AmigaForever to run these on windows or use the UAE Emulator directly on any other system (Linux, OSX ...) ;)
