i completely agree. his style just isn't shown in this, but the screw on head animated feature looks great.

Japanese cartoons made for theater are actualy the best. You're talking about a part of the TV mass production. Ponyo got more action and movement than every american cartoons. And best american cartoons are not well known from american cause the prefere stupid entertainement. Go wach Pliympton or Ghibli works and shut up.

Whouch, I was furious on this one...
I was talking about Bill Plympton. Matt Groening does a great work too and he's recognized. There can be art on TV screen too and in both country. Kogepan anime is great too on its way. Animated cartoon doesn't implies movement. Blockbuster on one hand, art on the other. Blame! "animated art" is really good with few things moving only.
