i bet the new singer sold his soul for Layne,s voice,,,,, when i first heard this on the radio i thought it was either an old track pulled out of the archives or a series of voice samples put togeather for the song,,,,i am fucking amazed and kind pleasently creeped out,,,sounds just like him! rip Layne
Jerry Cantrell and William Duvall are harmonising just like Jerry did with Layne. Jerry is singing the low part and William the high part, it's not just Jerry singing. The rest of the guys in AIC don't think that William's just a mould of Layne, their really happy with him and said that he's bought his own cards to the table and I agree. Check out the acoustic version of this song and you can hear how strong William's voice is.
Jerry has an awesome voice, and he definitely put himself more up front on this album which was the right move, but you can't say Layne wasn't the one with the haunting voice. They're both very close in tonality, but watch a live video of Staley singing Love Hate Love and try telling me otherwise! Just saying.
