I wonder what kind of radioactive/carcinogenic materials they put into cosmetics back in the 1920s, I bet a lot of people died of poisoning back then before they discover biologically safe chemicals for human uses.

That is so true. Women of today don't know anything about putting on make-up. Heck , most of them don't wear make-up at all. They go bare face.
