Qarase's racist regime was one such example of a sham democracy, a racist regime which used democratic and legal processes to institutionalise racism. as a fijian myself i really don't believe in so called SDL party led by Qarase and his cronies, ...practicing the same old politics used by RATU MARA, ...installing rasism and fear in the minds of indeginous fijians to justify his own political view so he can stay in power.
