Does he speak a Native language or participate in any ceremonies? Does he have contact with any Native people at all? Obviously not! Lemme guess...he's "Cherokee" like everyone & their mom.

So if I do a show in an afro wig & black face, that's cool? If I say "Yessum, boss! I'll tap dance somethin' powaful fo ya, boss" that's okay? These guys don't know shit about us. You know NOTHING about our struggle with poverty & systematic oppression. I don't expect the white or black americans to understand. The white people surrendered their culture & the black people had theirs stolen from them. You people have no culture to protect, so of course you don't understand how we feel.

even though I completely disagree with your statement of the state of current music when this song was released, you still get my respect for organizing your opinion in an intelligent matter. very rare on this website.

Thanks. I`m guessing you`re a much younger person than I, and your opinion is understandable. My feeling is that while there is good music being made today, its harder to find in a climate that promotes heavily a few stale artists like Mariah Carey and Neil Diamond or other mass distributed stale artists while the real innovators and trail blazers are forced underground or to the net for exposure. I grew up in the 60s when different was celebrated and anyone had a chance to break through. Peace
