How to Make a Universe - Part 1

People have wondered about how the universe came in to existence or by what laws it operates ever since we started living in caves. In this first part, the background to the physics discoveries tha...

I agree that waves are in something, which I prefer to call aether. I see no need for higher dimensions - recognizing that c varies with the local tension of the aether will produce the effects of general relativity.

typically waves are waves 'in' something so for this theory to work you'd been some kind of base particle and matter, maybe aether or something, that these waves could behave as they do in. Or some kind of common medium throughout space, which could be the case if there are higher dimensions that intersect with our universe and create a tangible fabric.

It's called revising the theory, thats how science works.

You stay stuck in the stone age.
I give up.

I'd like to reproduce your vibrating water dish experiment. Can you provide details?

Links aren't possible here, so search "ray tomes cymatics" and you should find the page on my web site with the set up that I used. It is ray(dot)tomes(dot)biz/cymatics (dot)htm

I am not sure what the "it"s that you are referring to. If it is photons, then what I am saying is that there is no such thing as "a photon in flight". The quantization exists only at the time of emission and absorption. It does not exist in flight as between the emission and absorption (which may be years apart) there is simply the continuous development of the e/m fields according to Maxwell's equations.

The discreteness is related to configurations of matter and how they change.

As I understand this, unless we are seeing energy then the existence of a particle has no physical meaning, the values are imaginary.
One way I have been advised to visualize this is that entanglement is a line in 4 dimensions.
