there's some d!ckheads on here who must be too young to know some really great NZ bands like Herbs, Dam Native, Split Enz, Dragon then there's Fred Dagg, Darcy Clay Che Fu, Teremoana Rapley just to name some then there's newer bands like Kora, Fat Freddy's, Katchafire, House of Shem, The Datsuns, The Black Seeds, Flight of the Concords, Concord Dawn could go on forever NZ produces some of the best music in the world and only a small country like Fred Dagg said "We don't know how lucky we are"

you should have a listen to skankamelia, mean gisborne band. they just broke up, but had been pumping for 10 or more years. they're like sublime.
