The one thing I hated about the dub (even more than it being a dub) is that Misato said "so fucking what" at some point.
Swearing is aggressively dramatic, but not tragically so.
Kinda spoiled her last moments.

Well yeah but at least The Matrix didn't feature a cast made of whining emos.

The Matrix was a movie about changing your perception of reality, that's it.

Hmm..you have a very good point, I've often wondered about the daily life and mindset of the people who write this kind of story. Emo at it's worst...very true. If I find myself wishing i could fast forward on 2x just to see when they start talking again, then it's way to emo for me. If all the useless pauses were taken out the story would have been better in my opinion.
Even in music a note can only be held for as long as it's a part of the whole composition but they dragged this out too much
