when i hear this song in my car always i feel a kind of monster inside me and crying i remember my ex and my stupid madness. my english is limited but my point is clear .
The time is all jumbled up as the comment below suggests. My theory is he was watching movies of them. The viewer doesn't know this till the very end. She is wearing the exact same clothing at the end as in the home video and the room is not torn up yet. The video gives the sense of the their relationship is one continuous negative loop to be repeated over and over like any bad relationship does. There is also a sense of serious trust issues due to how the video is constructed.
Well to further add onto the theories, I believe that he just becomes obsessed with the prostitute, and in turn "fell in love with her," by watching her. He calls her to come to his hotel room, for you-know-what, and then he doesn't really want to have sex, he just wants to like, watch her and be with her. But she treats him like any other customer, and it hurts him b/c he just wants her (look at muse's lyrics). Anyway, he freaks out b/c of this, and she freaks out b/c he starts trashing stuff.
ill add to what the last person said. I think that he was the boyfriend of the girl who seems to be a prostitute. And the video that shows her and him together is actually when they were actually a couple. So I guess that what he's watching are like home movies of them and he gets pissed when he found out what she was doing so he trashes the hotel room. Cuz now she's doing to them what she did to him in the home video? and the last girl at the end is actually a girl who looks like her.
i get the video, it seems the girl is a prostitute, and maybe the hated the girl, i don't know why, they could be in a relationship, then when he found out about her job, he called her up, pretending to be a customer, but weird part is the end, where it seems they don't seem to know each other.. anybody can add something?
