Paulson: IMF Should Take Lead On Sovereign Wealth Funds
The International Monetary Fund should take the lead in developing guidelines and best practices for sovereign wealth funds, U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson said Saturday.

The IMF is uniquely positioned to identify best practices for sovereign wealth funds, building on existing guidelines for foreign exchange management, Mr. Paulson said in the text of remarks to be delivered before the IMFs policy-steering committee, which is convening as part of the annual meeting of the IMF — and its sister organization the World Bank — in Washington this weekend.

Sovereign wealth funds, government-owned pools of capital, have attracted attention of policy-makers as the size of their assets has exploded and their activity in equity investment has grown. Developed countries, the recipients of much of the investment from sovereign wealth funds, are worried growing cross-border investment could feed protectionism. #3 on t this list is obscure, I read no part of Executive Order 12803 that says there are no government employees.It efectivly allows public use of government owned infrastructure to raise monies for paying depths or offsetting a tax debt, it does not allow for making "profits" with the use of the infrastructures however it does not clearly state as you have presented there are no longer government emplpyyes nor does it admit to the bankruptcy of the union.

Thinking in the terms of your tiny intellect. Why would any so-called "country" in this case the USA CORP. have to sell assets to pay off debts, when the CORPORATION has already granted itself the power to print it's own money.

the pope can change or abolish Canon law. this is the laws of the catholic church, not the laws of the land. He is the head of the the church, just as bill gates is the head of Microsoft and can change the rules or "laws" of his business at anytime anywhere, and those changes are made to all Microsoft entities worldwide.
