Head Tracking for Desktop VR Displays using the WiiRemote

Using the infrared camera in the Wii remote and a head mounted sensor bar (two IR LEDs), you can accurately track the location of your head and render view dependent images on the screen. This effectively transforms your display into a portal to a virtual environment. Great Video , near the end you mention it can only be viewed by one person at a time .

I know this is an old video but could you not use the ps3 tv to view with more people?

I love this guy!!  Reminds me of all the fun hours reverse engineering existing technology and improving for cheaper and the masses. Like my self back in the day building a (redbox) for payphone coin simulation and not to forget the CVS supposed 1 time use HD video camera, (use over and over) :)
