I didn't know you have to leave the boiled potatoes over night in the fridge. That explains the very sticky and soggy skin they have each time I make it...

when i make rösti (which isn't often) i make it thiner and with cheese the taste is then better you can also add other vegtables or bacon
as it is shown in the vid it's a bit tastless
