Definitely! We know very, very little about physics at this point. I think much of it might be beyond human comprehension but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist just because we don't understand it.

I agree totally. I'm guessing that the Quantum Sciences themselves are what will bridge the gap, since there's so much about the smaller parts of energy and matter that we're just now learning about.

It does change people!  I don't care so much about the things that aren't all that important really. The SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT thing to me when I woke up was MY FAMILY!!! That was all I really cared about anymore and that hasn't changed. All of my friends changed afterwards too. I'm much calmer about everything now too. Once you've faced death head on, nothing even compares and it's just down right difficult to get upset over trivial things anymore.

OchrismongreIO: Honestly, I don't think you are that far off from the truth. I know it sounds "out there" but some how, some way, I'm convinced that science and spirituality will be found to be compatible one day.

Its funny how some folk have their lives changed by it,as i was only three i don't know if it changed me,if i would have been a different person if it hadn't happened.

However i would say this,i am not materialistic,i am not competitive,i am very laid back & am a deep thinker.

I truly believe we need to think outside the box on this,forget what our human science says,forget what human religion says,this is not something you can understand unless you have experienced it yourself & come back

Utter Nonsense, So by your logic billions of people are deluded and brainwashed? Alot of these near death experiences point to their being a god.

I think the presence of a god in these experience is down to the individuals interpretaion of what they saw. God is an idea, a device our minds use to give a name to and personify unexplainable forces.
Also i think its extremely naiive to disregard the idea that billions of people are deluded and brainwashed. Its happened over and over again in history in order to control mass populations, and of all things God is probably the greatest tool for control ever used.
