Hapiness is indeed important it's only too bad not many show the respect for what people did. They fought for their country, died for their country and now their country has forgotten them :L

Oh believe me. I would NEVER forget. Happiness is not everything in the world, but it sure is important.

Hapiness for the end of a horrible war is allowed. Forgetting the sacrifice we had to give is not. Make respect and remember that hapiness is not eveyrthing in this world.

this movie about the friendship, the solidarity, the free life, the rebellion and the peace. actually fight against the fight. berger is a scamp, a very funny guy in this movie. the aim it, the let audience take lovin' to him so much :). he wont die, because he never favoured the fight. he thinks nothing to die for unnecessary aim. wage war in no way, 'couse it begets a pain only, and never solives the problem ....

Are we not allowed to be happy for the people who have survived the war and for the people who will not die now that the war is over? Are we not allowed to advocate peace?

Crap, this ending was so sad, I was like, NOOO!!! Don't kill Berger!! I loved him in the movie. :(
