all this "nixon was a great president" shit is a myth. the right loves to revise history to try and rehab the images of the criminals they turn out so that way they pull the same stunts over and over again.
what did exactly did nixon do that had any real meaning? SALT? opening relations with china? none of that has amounted to shit. ended hostilities in Vietnam? like there was a choice.
so like what exactly made him anything other than typical? not much.

too bad sonny jurgensen ruptures his achilles tendon a couple of weeks later, stepping in a gopher hole in giants stadium. he finally has a top defense, thanks to allen, and vince had earlier brought in larry brown -- the stars finally seemed aligned in the twilight of #9's glorious career ...

Richard Nixon was a great president.
He did a lot for this country and wanted what was best for the people.
Nixon had the respect of other nations and knew how to make things work with them.
What a shame that he was forced to resign.
That should never have happened.
Other presidents did worse than Nixon ever did.
History will prove how good Richard Nixon was.
By the way, I like this tape.
Two great men talking football.
Love it.

Anyone with the balls to know they are being taped and be themselves and do the best they can do and often be great at it like Nixon. THATS A PRESIDENT.

Say what you will about Trickie Dick, but the fact is, nobody is perfect. He did great deeds for our country. It also helps that he was a fan of football. :-)
