I'm guessing as to what you mean but Sunrise is the proper name for where this show is from on 5/2/08. While it's close to Fort Lauderdale, FL, that's just a lazy reference, like saying Landover, MD is Washington, D.C..
I agree with nittyranks, yeah thank you for posting this, I'm glad you did, it's one of his great 'lost' songs (even if it did get released, it's not as well-known as it should be; it's better than the Raspberries song of the same name! I Love the way he pulls at his guitar on those chords; kinda odd to see but great; reminds me of Mike Ness, his stance at those moments.
Thanks. I agree, it is a great lost song that you don't think ot right away but I think this video makes the case for it deserving more set list time.
I'm not sure why Bruce is ripping the guitar strings but it's become a dominant style on this tour unlike any before. Visually powerful and like Pete Townshend's windmill, it's becoming a signature Bruce move. Almost like jerking the cord on a stubborn lawn mower repeatedly to get it started.
Yeah you're right, a stubborn lawn mower! ha ha (oh, I read this before and smiled, I mustve been super-tired, cause I didn't see the part about how this has become a regular style for him?! Wow! Well I'm just glad I got to see it here, thank you, and such a kick-ass song, I've loved this since...well, since years ago when I got the Roulette LP!
