Keith is amazing. Most drummers only play like that when soloing..he plays like it all the time.

The drumming on this version is visceral. The double kick fills are just dynamite.

Bonham and Moon great rock drummers but Ginger is probably the most accomplished drummer to come out of Britain absolute master and pioneer of polyrhythms unique approach to jazz, master of African rhythms and original Rock drummer, incredible constructed long solos with flowing and counter flowing rhythms, master of the off beat, indcredible four limb independence. Master of all drum rudiments.

@joedog281, you do realize that A) He was doing research to fight pedos,B) He fully cooperated with police, during the investigation and C) he doesn't make any claims of that in his autobiography. Stop eating the bullshit Pete's detractors are feeding you. Also, in case you missed it, Roger stood by Pete's side during the incident because he knew Pete would never molest any kids or look at Kiddie porn on a normal basis. Also, if you're going to detract, don't post any comments.

Agree, I love Moon's cocky attitude, Punk before Punk. In fact, the predecessors, certainly. One thing, if you look at earlier Who videos, you'll notice he only had one bass drum. This was 1967. The first guy to use a double bass was Ginger Baker of Cream. They broke into the scene in 1967. If you aren't familiar with Cream and Baker's drumming, you owe it to yourself to check it out.

One of the most legendary and iconic bands ever, period. So sad the Marquee at 90 Wardour Street is no more; my favorite venue and stomping ground; it should have been treasured and turned into a mausoleum.
