Vlog #9: Who Hijacked Islam??!

To clear up some doubt people may have in their minds...those "muslim" terrorists you see on tv, carrying out mindless acts of violence in the name of Islam, can never be Muslim.

Islam = Peace. Study the true teachings of the religion. God gave us a brain to be used to seek out the truth.

TERRORISM HAS NO RELIGION

The whole world associates Islam with violence. Islam and its founder was forged in war and imperialism and a scholarly approach to Islam always leaves one in no doubts of the virulent urging of a warlord to ultimately conquer through jihad. I have never known any non-Muslim or Muslims for that matter who ever felt Islam was anything short of barbaric and brutal. One only needs to casually glance through Sharia laws to get a hint of its barbarism to be preserved for all time.

The reason why Islam above all other religions should be assosciated with terrorism and hatred is simple. For instance Muslims like to cite violence in the O/T as the N/T the definitive Christian philosophy is obviously not conducive to violence. Let us go a bit further here on the Muslim argument.

The reason a lot of Americans associate Islam with terrorism is because: news reports of Islamic religious leaders issuing fatwas for violent attacks on Americans. Does that mean all Muslims are terrorists? No. I'm just saying how easy it is to associate terrorism with Islam based on repeated news reports.

Yes, the O/T has violence, but there is no real parallel to the Koran and Islam. Look at the numbers. The violence in the O/T is limited to a few verses. The violence in the Koran against the kafir (unbeliever) takes up 61% of the text. Every mention of the kafir is brutal, condemning, pejorative, hateful and threatening. The Hadith, the Traditions of Mohammed, has 20% of its text devoted to jihad. The Sira, Mohammed's life, has 70% of the text about Mohammed as prophet devoted to jihad.

I don't think ANYONE would say that... "Everyone who is a Muslim is a terrorist", except a REAL asshole, like me...

BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT THERE AREN'T ANY OUT THERE EITHER! It's the 'ol "All owls are birds, but not all birds are owls" adage. Fine... In fact, as far as I'm concerned, this guy is OFF the terrorist list for now. That's ONE down, a few billion to go...

Why can't this guy just sit down for 6 minutes and talk without stopping/changing where he's sitting for EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE?! Do you know why? I'll tell you (this is true): It's because believe it or not, with this "take by take" video format, it is supposed to make the viewer feel (subconsciously) as if he or she is actually "bombarded" by MANY DIFFERENT people and their opinions, as opposed to just one guy sitting there giving you his take on things.
