PRT 2 So while I agree with your response, my comment was only a rhetorical musing in regard to real talent being appreciated. Everytime I find an artist of Sia's quality it just highlights the fact that the mainstream music business has less to do with talent.
I cannot believe I just found her! I mean, I love Zero 7 and I just now made the connection. This woman is the REAL DEAL. Why is she not bigger?!!!!! Not only is her voice unbelievably soul rattlingly amazing but her personality is so genuine an real.
Agreed! She'd deserve all the appreciation there is... Yet, I deeply hope she won't raise too high in the commercial awareness, as past shows that it doesn't always have a good impact on a soloist's work...
she doesnt need to be any bigger. she never fails t make me smile with her personality and move inside with every note that she pushes out...so natural and yet so personal, she's amazing but i think the fact that she's one of those little treasures that if you come across, you fall in love and comfortably learn to lie across her beautiful waves ( and theres a peice in you that wants to keep it to yourself because it's so wonderful. I share it but to people i know will appreciate it.
Thanks for the comment- you worded it very eloquently.Esp the part about wanting to keep it yourself because it is so wonderful. I only say bigger in terms of there are a number of female artists who have achieved a level of "success" that I believe is unwarranted for various reasons.

If you love Sia then as a person who appreciates such quality music, you should check out Hollie Smith. She is a Kiwi of phenomenal talent..
