u may be right resteep. this is no big deal at all. im not hearin anythin bout conscription in the news at all.

I dont agree with alot of what president obama says But

1. He is our president. he deserves respect.

2. Civilian Security already exists. its called Militia.

he doesnt need to make one. i would love to see president obama out with a militia, talking with them, and shooting guns with them.

Wilson had the same sort of thing and he used it to keep people from challenging the administratiion's policies. Remember Noriega's "dignity battalions"? Scary stuff. This didn't sound like the sort of group that would be picking trash along the interstate.

Just enter "Barack Obama: Call to Service in Colorado Springs, CO" into your youtube bar. But, it will mean you'll have to listen to a speech in it's full context, which might require an attention span of an adult, which you clearly don't have.

As for the Denver Post article, that is just a rumor perpetuated by faux-conservative bloggers like HotAir.
