This is song is beautiful I agree, I do that when I go to sleep. I pretend he is right next to me, his arms around. Then after my pretend time, I see that its not true and just hug the teddy bear he gave me and a tear falls upon my teddy. I can't wait to see him again, we would be together every day if he weren't in the military but I'm so proud of him, its just hard at times when I miss him so much.

FYI This song was originally written and recorded by The Kinks around 1969. The Pretenders re-recroded it in the '80's. This version is very different from the original.

It was written by Ray Davies in 1965 and recorded first by Peggy Lee in the same year. Made most famous by the Pretenders in 1981.
