On a competely unrelated note, you can rotate your sentry with the right mouse button.

nice vid. this is the actual fun way to play engineer - Level 3 SG's are for bitches (or possibly crafty assholes, depending on where you put it). although a lot of this video went towards the sentry, i'd like to point out that a level one dispenser costs 100 metal, gives back 25 on build, 40 per tick, and 50 if you pick up the pieces on destruction. so if you think it'll stay up long enough to get even just one tick out of it, you're already ahead of the game metal-wise, plus you get health
When my team doesn't need them, I often place dispensers in such a way that the enemy can see it, but has to move in range of the sentry to fire on it. Naturally, most effective on luring pyros. It's surprising how retarded some players can be when they're complacent.
