After less than 6 months, my Iliad began to fail. It will jump 15 to 20 pages at a time, no longer connect to my PC and the battery life is down to 5 hours from 15 hours.
iRex is stonewalling me about the repairs and ignores my repeated questions. Never buy anything from iRex.
yeah people have lots of money to spend... This is WAY too expensive for what you get. If they want it to work, it should be sold under 100$, especially when people can buy decent laptops for under 700$ these days. Why spend 600$ on this???
Because these things work in full glaring daylight, don't cause eyestrain and last incredibly long on 1 charge. i don't mean like 5-10 hours but actually days. i've once had it last about a week. no laptop does that, even with standby and whatnot.
It's not the processor and such that's expensive, it's the screen type.
