Ventrilo Tutorial

ohkay me and my friend play runescape, and we want to set up a thing so we can tlak to each other while pking. how do i make my own chat room where he can join it?

My vent works when I have windows up, but the second I pull up my game client, my PTT key doesnt work (I use this because it sounds like im in a hurricane no matter what my setttings are if i dont have ptt set) I can still hear my teammates, but i cannot talk ingame. but the second i return back to windows and minimize the game it works?

Can anybody help me with this problem??

a sucky tutorial if you ask me. you didn't tell people how to join a server, about the connection server? wtf

what is the port number? this isn't a very good tutorial if your just going to do it without telling people what you are doing
