Running of the bulls in Spain's Pamplona begins

Thousands of runners raced ahead of six fighting bulls in the streets of the Spanish city of Pamplona, with reports of at least five people being injured.

In tradition almost all of them get killed actually. They are lead down into the stadium where they get separated and used for bullfights. However its also tradition that the meat be given to orphanages and the poor.

Bulls are just cows, hundreds of thousands (probably more) of them are slaughtered every year for food. How this is any different is beyond me.

HAHAHAHA, I remember when that Japanese tourist got dragged into the arena at 0:52! It was on the cover of the San Fermin Newspaper the next day. I then used that same newspaper to roll it up and tap the bulls when I ran. Good Times!
