The realism of the expressions is cool, but what the speech is bragging about is pretty exaggerated. Jules isn't really "conversational". It mouths the words put out by a speech program that someone types into. This speech was recorded by an actor, though, and the expressions that go with it were scripted. It's quite a feat to mechanize the subtleties of human expression, but it's no Hal yet.
In Jules case you are correct, but in Albert-Hubo, the expression is dynamic and reactive to the world around him. Jules was kind of just playing around with how real they could get the expressions to look. I don't know if Albert-Hubo can speak, however.
