Ideology is fine on a personal level.
The problem with it though is that we could never all agree on ideology.
For instance most people here assume love is a universal force. But lots of people would disagree and say that love has no universal significance and is just a local phenomenon and the result of biological brain processes.
We need to base the movement on things we can ALL agree on. And the only things we can all agree on are empircal scientific facts. Let's be practical.
