I find this era of paul's career very frustating resorting to re-record old Beatles songs and tracks just a couple of years old the film wasn't much cop either. It wasn't until 1989's Flowers in the dirt and playing live again he found that spark again. All of this seemed to safe and cosy making glossy pop videos and relying on nostalgia to see him by a bit.
When I was 10 this video came out and there used to be a show called Night Tracks on TBS. They said it was coming up and being 10 I fell asleep in front of the couch and woke up half way through! I was so pissed off!! No Youtube back then or DVR. I waited 22 years before I ever saw it again!!! And it was worth it!!! Then it came out in the McCartney Years so it was back on TV after 2 decades!!
