Cirque continues to be an amazing institution, but it's too bad that Franco Dragone (the creator of Nouvelle Experience, Mystere, Alegria, Saltimbanco, and Quidam) left for other shores - it was his artistic integrity that, for me, held the shows together. Now, many of the shows post-Franco (post Quidam) seem to move like Disney stage productions!

They were on the Gulf Coast sometime last year or the year before. I wanted to see them so badly, but I didn't have time. I was also partly afraid of what the ticket prices might have been. XD

In 2007 my high school marching band performed Journeys of the Mind. Feauturing the music of Benoit Jutras and Robert W. Smith. The show was performed in the following order:
pre-show: Atmadja
1st mov: into the storm, incantation/seisouso
2nd mov:seisouso
3rd mov: incantation

It was a bad ass arrangement. We made it to state for the first time in school history and were ranked 24 in the state of Texas. Were on YouTube: Waller band. State competition
