Just showing you a few games for both systems (SMS and NES) in this video. The Sega games are much better looking/sounding in my opinion. Let me hear your feedback! Long live the 8-Bit era!

The Master System didn't really lose in Europe. I live in the UK and I had a Master System and it was popular for a lot longer than the NES here. You could buy games in all games shops for a long time where there were only a few NES games around. The NES is a lot rarer here.
Rambo is a totally different animal the rest yeah you have a point- i hope you did Bubble Bobble..... This might show people why although NES rocked the home console in sales, companies still preferred Sega for arcade versions.
i had one friend out of many that had the master system. we used to play double dragon on it all the time and of course the graphics were better than my nes. never the less, he was always at my home when i got super mario bros. 3.
i agree, the sega games look and sound better. i'm sure if they had good marketing and nintendo did not have exclusive licenses with some of the bigger titles, this would have been big in the US!
@accent361 Because nintendo monopolised the game developers making them sign a contract so they couldnt make games for anyone else.
so sega had to make literally all of their games plus Tonka did a terrible job marketing Sega in america thats why it dominated the Brazilian market, European and the Australian.
We had a Master System when I was growing up... the Graphics and titles were fewer but Higher quality than the Nintendo... bu I was 8 in '88 and I really wanted the Nintendo like everyone else... ahhh childhood.
