thumbs up!! her as a person was much more real i think. i remember in the MTV Diaries thing or some other interview thing, she says that she writes songs that come from the heart. and that was in the paaaaaast!! o.o
but now the songs are a bit cheerleader sounding D: "lemme hear you say hey hey hey! hey hey hey! alright! now lemme hear you say hey hey hoe!" and that junk :( im so with you

omg me too! her style was much less glam and she was 100% herself and didnt have that high pitched annoying voice thing that most girls do nowadays. =[
omg she used to be my most favorite singer in the world. i still like her old stuff, but nothing from The Best Damn Thing since its poppy sounding than punk-pop :/
