Taiwanese is not chinese. They speak different mandarin. Taiwanese mandarin sounds different than that of China's. And Taiwan use Pin Ying. They also have traditional characters and not simplified. I cant even understand some of China's mandarin... lol. Just saying Taiwan is separate from China. Taiwan also has their own flag, their own president... and such so i believe it is not part of China.

Taiwan-Born people don't like being called Chinese because literally, they aren't chinese. Still same language, Mandarin, also some parts of Taiwan still speak Taigi, which is a different type of Chinese (not fully chinese).

its split 50/50. 50% taiwanese are cool being called chinese. the other half no. The guys don't care. the girls get anal about it. That's what I realized. People from taipei are generally nice.

I'm american cantonese. Goodluck with independence. You can be independent I don't care. As long your recognize your chinese. All taiwanese have chinese last names. So are you going to argue about that?

I love Jolin and this song as well, but she is from Taiwan instead of China as I saw your commenting on this MV.Taiwan has her own prime minister and president.
