I like killer whales too but we must think about how humans are affecting their habitat. We are dumping chemical waste in the water which is passing toxic substances up the food chain and poisoning the whales, we are using disruptive ship sonar which causes them to strand. We are screwing the whole ecosystem up, and then we bitch and whine when a population goes extinct.

I've heard that the Giant Squid are pretty intelligent too. I don't know how they would react if someone shoved a mirror in front of them, they probably might try and attack it.

I see your point but I think we just have to learn to accept that we are not the only dominant predators at the top of the food chain. The killer whales rule the seas and we rule the land, let's keep it that way.
