Joe Odagiri is one of best Japanese actor.
I hope to see him in hollywood like Ken Watanabe.
Japanese actors are very unique and attractive , very diffterent with other Asians.

One of the best japanise movies I've ever seen (and I've seen quite a lot)

The trailer makes this movie look like a plain comedy but this is certainly not just a comedy. I found this movie sometimes funny, but most of all, nostalgic and deep (relationship, family motive). Bad trailer but beautiful movie.

I just got done watching this quirky, wonderful movie and highly recommend you take a seat and watch it from start to finish. Do not be fooled: This is a complex piece with a definite Japanese flavor, but not so much as to require cliff notes.

I'm sure some Hollywood producer somewhere is trying to figure out how to make an American version; I would ask them to politely leave it be.

Hello good folks,
I'd be grateful if someone could send me the song that goes on through the trailer, the one by Keiichi Suzuki and the Moonriders, or recommend a site where it can be freely downloaded...I tried to find it on emule, without any success...I'm from East Europe.
