Funny you would say that, I was telling my wife on Sunday that the U2 strings, specifically as we were listening to this song, give me chills everytime. What a great song!
It is on the album though. The bass line, some of the guitar licks, and the breakdown at the 3 minute mark are parts of The Fly. The breakdown at the 4:15 is the intro to Ultra Violet, though amped up, and the part where Edge sings "ultraviolet" multiple times on Ultraviolet is the riff from the chorus of Lady with the Spinning Head.
