I Don't think he was ill this was probs performed in 2005 when Hide From The Sun Came out and when they made that he had smoke heavily to make his voice deeper and gruff lol

nope, this was at the MTV's Emma Gaala February 2004,
They started with Hide From The Sun after the dvd Live Letters was finnished, on 29/09/2004
Hide From The Sun was announced at 17/12/2004 bij a video message
