Lovesmith - Shame

One of the best ballads to have come out in many years, this was a real throwback to the 'Sweet Soul' glory days of the early 70s. (Listen to those strings!) The flipside of the 45 "Look Out Below" is almost as good.

The early 80s looked so promising for real Soul music... then along came the drum machine, rap, MTV and pseudo-soul.

i've been having a difficult time finding this stuff, I'm a very good friend of the Smith family, and even they didnt have copies of some of their own material, so I'm really glad to have found some of it here....
