I didn't understand a word of it, but it sounded good. The lead guitarist is a bit 80's, but other than that... ( i like the verse palm mutes, but the solo is a bit heavy for CoCCo).
The vocals were good or I would not have watched the whole thing while understanding only English. I think if cocco did a song in English, she and her accent, would be a hit in the usa.

My boat drifted on the sea of sadness/searching for the end of the rainbow//The days we lived together are far away, at the edge of my memory//We were just under separate skies/searching for the place/we always dreamed of//I couldn't even say goodbye/I kept waiting for the dawn to come//The moments we spent together are far away, at the edge of my memory

We were just braving different winds/trying to get to the place we always dreamed of//We were just reaching in the dark trying to get to the place we always believed in.

it's cool to see her actually play her instrument. don't know if it is real, but if she has invested her time in learning rock guitar, i won't have to worry about her going pop/rap like koda kumi

It is a mistake to compare koda kumi with COCCO. Nature is too different.
COCCO which there is having both talent and instinct.
koda kumi which wants to be merely outstanding.

im not sure i completely understand what your saying. i know they aren't the same in many ways. This is kind of a fleeting thought i have had before. "it seems like alot of rock/alternative bands i listen to go to rap/hip hop." kinda like a maturing thing i guess. a few that i've noticeed at some point have gone from rock to rap/hip-hop like ayumi hamasaki and koda kumi. seems like rock gets them on the scene and r&b pushes them out of the spotlight. i just like the upbeat stuff is all. lol
