Wanderings through the JBL speakers Vol.2

The JBL line these days is not at all interesting. Their past lineup sounded better, looked better and had far better prices. They should make more reissues. Better yet just go back to what they used to make and discontinue everything that is new. Does anyone actually carry JBL products anymore?

Their only flaw was when they tried to make car audio. Oh dear - yes better stick to PA hadnt you james...

They made good car audio in the early 90's the gti line.but they just took all the tec from ther dj line like the 2206j and the 2226j

What are those fins on top of those big speakers?

They're called 'acoustic lenses' - Look weird don't they, but they're supposed to disperse the sound wave over a broader listening field
