Aztec Camera to me are like a glass half-full type of person's Smiths! (though I love both bands myself).
Interesting how Johnny Marr was in some way influenced by this song.

Agree with Mercurybeam below...has a very emotional impact...found my old single of it the other day and reminded me why it was one of the very few records i recall buying at that time....emotive, evocative...heart rendering....

One of the all time greats of the early 80's

Their album High Land, Hard Rain (1983) has to be one of the best for that era.
