this was my favorite anime with ninku during the time when i was 6yrs old

I love the old japanese anime ... they had the sort of authentic feel ... something which is missing in most animes today ( sometimes I wonder whether the cartoons are japanese or american ... not that it's a bad thing , but most of them are poorly made )
