Oh and for the people who want to do this without buying a special box, you can just use an eraser to remove the ink on the bottom of the box. It takes a while but it works. This also works for removing ink on US currency if you want to perform "fraud" by Daniel Garcia. After you make the box gimmick, just re-watch this video for the handling. You may also want to draw lines on the bottom of the box like in Masuda's Ambelitious card gimmick. It just makes it a bit more convincing in close up.

The card box illusion was so clever and simple! The gimmick is just a box of cards with the bottom and sides all white! For preparation he kept a few cards on top of the box to hide it. He does a very simple false shuffle and spreads the top cards on top until there's one left, he then cuts the rest to the underside of the box. Finally he just sticks the last card on top to his palm and drops it over the table edge. As for the card through window illusion, it will remain a secret to YOU.

You're wrong. The sides of the box are not white, as the video clearly shows. Ergo, your "explanation" is total B-S. The only plausible explanation is that what Copperfield is performing is really magic.
